Who we are
Frames For Figma (the UI kit and the ACSS plugin for Figma) is made by UI Overhaul s.r.o., Čárskeho 12, 040 01 Košice, Slovakia. We're responsible for the personal data described here. For anything about privacy, email info@framesforfigma.com.
This website
framesforfigma.com and docs.framesforfigma.com don't use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. Fonts and images come from our own domain, so opening a page doesn't contact any other company.
Both sites are hosted by Cloudflare. To deliver the pages and protect them from abuse, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. We don't use this data to find out who you are. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Buying Frames For Figma
Purchases go through Polar (Polar Software, Inc.), which acts as the merchant of record: Polar is the seller, takes the payment, handles VAT and invoices, and sends your license key and download. Polar processes your payment and billing details under its own privacy policy. We never see your card details.
Polar shares with us what we need to provide the product and support: your name, email address, what you bought, when, and the status of your license key.
The ACSS plugin for Figma
When you activate the plugin, it sends your license key, your Figma user ID and your Figma name to our license server, to check the key and keep track of which Figma accounts it's activated on. The plugin checks the key again from time to time while you use it, and removes the activation when you deactivate it.
The plugin stores your license key and its status on your computer, in Figma's storage for plugins. Your design settings are saved in your Figma file. They're never sent to us.
When you contact us
If you email us, we use your message and email address to answer and follow up. If you post in the Frames For Figma Facebook group or message our Facebook Page, Meta's privacy policy also applies, and what you post in the group is visible to its members.
Why we may use your data
- To provide what you bought: your license, downloads, updates and support (the contract with you).
- To meet legal duties, such as keeping accounting records.
- For our legitimate interests: keeping the website and the license system secure and preventing misuse of license keys.
We don't sell your data, and we don't use it for advertising.
How long we keep it
We keep purchase and license data while your license is active and afterwards for as long as the law requires, for example for accounting. We keep emails for as long as we need them to help you, then delete them.
Who else processes it
Cloudflare (hosting), Polar (checkout, payments and license keys) and Meta (if you use the Facebook group or Page). Some of them process data outside the European Union. Where they do, they use the safeguards the GDPR requires, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your personal data, and ask us to correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, or send it to you in a portable format. You can also object to how we use it. Email info@framesforfigma.com and we'll reply within one month.
If you think we've handled your data wrongly, you can complain to the Slovak data protection authority, the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic, or the authority in the EU country where you live.
Changes
If we change how we handle data, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
